Bulk Solids Sampling: M&W Samplers – DD
M&W’s Disc Divider is used for dividing smaller incremental samples from a bulk sample of powdery bulk materials (up to ø65 mm particle size). A continuous automatic sample division ensures that the divided sample is still a representative sample – crucial for your quality control.
The bulk sample is delivered into the top cone of the Disc Divider, from where it is scraped from the upper disc to the lower disc, and then down into the bottom cone. A part goes through the sample outlets and the rest falls through the bottom cone to reject.
The division ratio is steplessly adjustable between 1:9 and 1:59 depending on material particle size.
